    Just finished reading your Gaining Ground . Really enjoyed it. I appreciate your insights into both animal and human nature that really add richness to your stories. It wasn’t till I almost finished the book that I realized how, in many ways, it reminded me of James Herriot’s books, such as All Creatures Great and Small, etc. In case you haven’t read him I’d strongly recommend them to you.
    Glad to see that your farming seems to be going well. I hope to visit the farm if we make it back to Virginia from Alaska.
