Gaining Ground is indeed about farming, markets, struggles, etc., but it is so much more than that. This book is for everyone, everywhere.
It’s funny, it’s sad, it’s far to much to even explain, but I have no doubt, that anyone that reads it, will love it as much as I did.

Just read your new book – in about 2 nights. Much to the chagrin of my wife- late night reading is not conducive to early morning chores here on our grazing farm. It was an epic read. Every paragraph we can relate to. Somtimes when things arent going well (which is often) it helps incredibly to know there are kindred sprits out there. I’m dragging this morning because I could not put your book down until 2am. Thanks a lot- I have 700 square bales to heave into the barn today.
