Smith Meadows has been practicing the following precautions since March 2020 for the safety of our customers and staff
- All customers are asked (if possible) to wear masks and gloves or use paper towels provided when in our farm store
- All Smith Meadows employees and managers are required to wear a mask when working in the farm store or commercial kitchen
- Only one customer, or family, at a time is allowed to shop in our farm store
- Our self-checkout system minimizes points of contact with product and our facility making each visit take minutes
- All Smith Meadows employees and managers wear gloves and/or wash hands whenever handling product or switching tasks in our farm store and packing area
- All areas and surfaces open to the public at our farm store are sanitized with a bleach solution several times a day after each group of customers has completed their purchase
- We have practiced social distancing with minimal contact at all of our farmers markets since mid-March 2020
