Winter Smith Meadows 2009

Our customers at market continue to support us not only by coming weekly, but also by sharing their wonderful recipes with us at market. New customers often learn a lot as they stand in line and listen to the cooking adventures that our regulars like to share.  For those of  you who don’t come to the market with a notebook and pen, I have included some of the newer recipes on our recipe page: Susan Pinkard’s Lamb Shanks Braised with Garlic, Matthew Datcher’s All-Night Roasted Chicken and Andrew & Alex Armentano’s Caramelized Anchovy Sauce over Spelt Noodles.

For those of you who don’t know, all of our markets continue through the whole year: Arlington Courthouse, Delray, Columbia Pike, Chevy Chase, Falls Church, Takoma Park, and Dupont Circle.  It looks like this winter will be a cold one, so keep yourselves warm and well fed with our delicious food.  Thank you for all your support in 2009 and we look forward to seeing you at market.
