We have gotten an incredible amount of spam in our comment area. I just came across your email. We use locally grown potatoes, onions, carrots and milk in the pot pies. Unfortunately we are not able to use local celery and peas. I appreciate your support.

Thank you for your interest and questions. Our feed for the chickens is harvested and grown locally without any additives. It is made of corn, wheat and soy. It is raised with minimal input in the way of fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides; however it is not organic. Thanks for supporting our family farm!

We get so much spam on our website, so I had not seen your message until now. The best person to contact is Forrest Pritchard at info@smithmeadows.com We only offer year-long internships with 50-55 hours of work each week. Accomodations are provided for 2 interns each year in a shared apartment with two bedrooms. We don’t offer part time internships at this moment. Hope this helps.
